| Well, we certainly hit the ground running. We opened on Tuesday
4th September and we could not have hoped for a better start. We
created traffic queues in Burpham with people trying to get into
the parade.
We have been so busy, with the people of Guildford really showing
a love for fresh fish; especially our wild sea bass, oysters,
mussels, dressed crabs, skate and halibut. We are increasing our
range of fresh vegetables and herbs as they are becoming more
popular with people liking to buy everything they need for a complete
meal.
I am very pleased with the way the shop looks with its traditional
tiles that one would have seen in a fishmongers sixty years ago,
and the stainless steel of the counters and fridges that give
a bright, clean and modern look.
We are meeting new customers each day that are quickly becoming
regulars and this is due to word and mouth. So I would like to
thank you all for your custom and support – its also nice
to see a lot of familiar faces from my school days (I’m
an ex George Abbot Boy)

can be sure of a warm welcome and an amazing choice of only the
best fish.
